Lemonade.. .

One of my favourite drinks is lemonade. It is a wonderfully refreshing drink to have on a hot summer day… or any time you want some! Haha. Well, here is the recipe we use. We never buy that pre-packaged stuff. We make ours from scratch. We also like limeade, so I’ll give you the recipe for that as well.:) Its simple to make, and simply delicious to enjoy!

Lemonade
1 cup of lemon juice(or 6 lemons)
3/4 cups of honey
5 1/2 cups of water
1 cup of ice

Limeade

1 cup of lime juice (or 6 limes)
3/4 cups of honey
5 1/2 cups of water
1 cup of ice

If you are using fresh lemons or limes, cut them into threes and squeeze the juice out of them into a glass measuring cup. Then pour lemon or lime juice into your pitcher. Mix in the honey using a wooden mixing spoon. Pour in cold water, while mixing. Add ice to pitcher. You can add a wedge of lemon or lime to the pitcher and enjoy!

If you want to, you can pour the lime- or lemonade over a cup of ice. Adding a wedge of lemon or lime also gives it a nice restaurant style look. Looks kind of pro you know. :) But either way, it delicious!

Looks good. :) I had a fantastic lavender lemonade last year when I was visiting a lavender farm on the Olympic Peninsula (Washington).

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE fresh lemonade. Mmmmmm. That sounds so good. Glad I had your Dad bring some lemon juice home for us tonight! We can even add lime instead of real lemons…

Rachel-

I was wondering if it would be okay with you if I used your recipe for lemonade and limeade in an up-coming post of mine. It is covering summer treats. I will give proper credit to you and a link to it and your blog. Would that be okay?

Hey Hannah~
Thanks for asking. Because we have so many publications of our own, we would prefer that you not use it.

You are welcome to link to this post though!
:)
