did you forget your walking stick, sir?
Um, no:
I think you have me confused with someone else.
Or something thing else.

I am a stick insect, more commonly called a walking stick.
I am of the order of “the Phasmatodea (sometimes called Phasmida) are an order of insects,
whose members are variously known as
stick insects (in Europe and Australasia),
walking sticks
or
stick-bugs (in the United States and Canada),
phasmids,
ghost insects
and
leaf insects (generally the family Phylliidae).”
[via wikipedia.]

I live in South America, as many other varieties of the family I belong to live too.
[but you already knew that, didn't you, Ra'chel, since you found me on your bedroom wall????]
[Yes, I did...]

well, go look up about me and my family of walking sticks,
and have a fun nature lesson while you’re at it.
for now, I’m gonna go crawl around the walls in Ra’chel’s bedroom,
scaring her that I might drop on her when she is asleep!
I may be small, but mind over might…
HAHAHAHAHA!
[note: i am not an evil walking stick; I like to tease people.]
hope you enjoyed meeting Frankie; he’s a great pal.
as ever,
-Ra’chel

Yep, I’m in Australia and I can confirm we call them stick insects. I love these guys, they are normally so gentle and placid and very nice to have around.
