The Time Of Teshuva
Yom Kippur…
…begins tonight, cuando el sol se pone… it is the Day of Atonement. Momma posted on her blog, entitled The Days of Awe.
Leviticus 23:27-32 outlines this wonderful shabbat:
27 “The tenth day of this seventh month is Yom-Kippur; you are to have a holy convocation, you are to deny yourselves, and you are to bring an offering made by fire to YHVH. 28 You are not to do any kind of work on that day, because it is Yom-Kippur, to make atonement for you before YHVH your Elohim. 29 Anyone who does not deny himself on that day is to be cut off from his people; 30 and anyone who does any kind of work on that day, I will destroy from among his people. 31 You are not to do any kind of work; it is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live. 32 It will be for you a Shabbat of complete rest, and you are to deny yourselves; you are to rest on your Shabbat from evening the ninth day of the month until the following evening.”
Yom Kippur is the day of Teshuva, the day of completely returning to the Father, repenting of sins, (transgressing His laws) and making a new start.
Shabbat shalom, dear ones! Blessings to you and may the shalom and light of YHVH Elohim be upon you and your household.

Blessings to you and your family always!

Hi Rachel,
I’m a friend of your sister, Jocelyn. Anyhow I was looking through your “Sites I enjoy” page and clicked on the button “My Wee View” button. It brought me to a page that I don’t believe you meant it to go to–it was rather inappropriate. I know your family upholds high values so I’m sure it wasn’t purposeful; I just wanted to make you aware of that.
I hope you had a restful Yom HaKippurim!
Shalom!
Sonja
