FOR TODAY: September 24, 2008 Wednesday…sorry it’s late
they say better late than never
Outside my window…Blessed with another day of Sunshine!
I am thinking…~ of the many family members & friends online I am thankful for ~
I am thankful…that God never lets me go even when I feel like I can’t hold on!
From the Kitchen… My dishes are cleaned and counters
and I have some more fresh green chile that I cleaned last night for our burrito dinner. MMMMM
I am wearing…a turquoise and brown paisley blouse with brown gauchos and white yes white sandals…and YES I know it’s after labor day!
I am creating…another song book of lyrics for our spanish worship team!
I am going… to continue to work on my health & getting into better shape!
I am reading… Galatians and Ecclesiastes and many wonderful blog articles
I am believing… God will make a way for our family to be together very soon.
I am hearing…the sound of the keyboard as I type
and the song “So Amazing” by Rachel Hunter .
Around the house…I have been doing my best to spot new projects that desperately need attention!
One of my favorite things…Singing to the Lord of His Greatness!
A few plans for the Rest of the Week: Stop procrastinating and go to Curves.
This picture was taken today outside our front window. At the beginning of August Pastor Shawn came to our house with some Cannis bulbs from his yard and started digging. He told me he had some that needed replanting because these plants have a bad habit of growing in excess with just a few planted. He let me know that since he was replanting them late that there was a very slight chance that they would really grow much or bloom. WHOOOOWEEE Look at them grow… I’m not sure if maybe they didn’t get the memo that it was late in the season or what? More than just these two have actually bloomed and another was about to open maybe tomorrow. We had quite a bit of rain last month right after they were planted and I think that really helped them get some good roots. He planted 7 to begin with, I believe and now there are about 18 and only one died
I thought that was pretty fantastic. He transplanted some for 2 other people last year and they died immediately but grew up this spring which is why he said dont’ be surprized if they all die. I asked him if I needed to do anything to them and he said no I have never watered mine on a consistent basis just whatever they get naturally they will grow like crazy. BUT, I actually watered them every day for about the first 4 days and I haven’t watered them since. I am very excited to have them. It’s quite a miracle to me they way things grow and I have never had anything that I actually grew myself. I know they were transplanted but it’s still amazing none the less.
Thanks for sharing your time with me, I enjoy sharing and letting you know what is going on here in little Hobbs, NM.
