Super Simple Spiritual Sunday Links

In honor of one of my favorite national holidays, I was happy to find some posts that talk about real Freedom. The freedom to choose a different path than the one the rest of the people are on that will improve life. I am not talking about taking liberties that will encourage others to walk away from God or intelligence, selfishly. I am talking about the light bulb coming on.

My Mother sent me a neat video about America, Why I Love Her. I love the video, because it is narrated by a favorite old actor of mine, John Wayne.
*
You have to check out Sprittibee’s latest commentary on colleges, College, Which Nest for Your Golden Egg?.
*
Amanda also posted a controversial post on colleges in her post, To Go To College Or Not!. She also posted a very patriotic post entitled, The Daily Newsroom: I Want You To Vote!.
*
The July version of Growing in Grace Magazine has been published. I encourage you to take a look at Jocelyn’s controversial post, Freedom Or Chains?.
*
A HUGELY important video I found is Method for Toddlers to Save Themselves from Drowning. You HAVE TO watch this. I cannot believe they leave this Baby in the swimming pool for so long alone! It is amazing, and you have to consider if you need to do this with your young child!
*
Another cool post I found was a garden – craft post called Tipsy Pots. I hope I get to try this! It is really neat!
*
I found the last two posts on StumbleUpon. I found quite a few cool posts. I had to change my interests on my preferences, because some of the sites I was stumbling were pretty lame, but then there were really good ones. If you are a Stumbler, you can add me from My Page. You will find Amanda and Jocelyn on my friends list, if you want to add them too.

I love the post entitled Awakening Love Before Its Time, a post about training our children without the mild sensuality and romance that many of the usual, accepted child- teen things bring into their lives. We have already been convicted in this area and agree with this ideology, but I was very happy to see this in print!

Please take time to read Robin’s awesome post about Coffee with God. We get caught up in being up too late and then regretting not being able to enjoy a full da. Robin has touched on this with encouragement and conviction. Great post Robin!

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22

Jacque Mrs. Jacque Dixon and her husband, Matt are busy preparing and training their nine children up in YHVH's narrow way. We are currently living and home schooling in Costa Rica, sharing our love of Torah online. Walking Therein is where Jacque writes encouraging articles of faith, home schooling and the daily adventures of the Dixon family, with a mix of news and reviews also thrown in from time to time.
