For those who are observing Passover and are questioning when is the Passover eaten, this came up in discussion and is in reference to “What is a day?” and “When does the day begin?”.
According to the original account and instruction to the Israelites to keep the first Pesach/Passover,
Exo 12:5 ‘Let the lamb be a perfect one, a year old male. Take it from the sheep or from the goats.

Malachi 2
13Another thing you do: You flood HYH’s/God’s altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer pays attention to your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands. 14You ask, “Why?” It is because HYH is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.

Holiness, Holiness, is What I Long For
Holiness is what I need! Holiness, Holiness is what you want from me.
I love that song. It was always one of my very favourites. It still is.
The one thing, though, that concerns me is this:
Do we really understand what holiness is?

We moved here to help two ministries on their farm, …

I love gardening. and here is another reason to love it: Digging in the dirt may be good for your health. I first heard about this when I read Jordan Rubin’s book, The Maker’s Diet. He was, at one point during his bout with the deadly illness, …

Since Rachel posted this, our lovely rooster, Sol, has disappeared. We were sorry to lose him. We have no idea where he disappeared to and can only guess he met his fate. He was a beautiful guy, and we actually miss him. So do the hens, though the gallo blanco from the neighbour’s flock doesn’t seem to mind.
